As part of the CASG 2.0 strategy, CASG is reforming key elements of Defence’s procurement framework to set the foundations to best support the increased risk appetite, to be agile, and make smart decisions to enable speed to capability by:<\/p>

a. reducing unnecessary burden to industry \u2013 in both time and cost;
b. reducing the effort and time for Defence to evaluate and make procurement decisions;
c. setting the parameters to take more risk; and
d. making it clear and easy to comply with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules.<\/p>
