AIDN QLD is delighted to invite you to attend our next Women of AIDN QLD Network Breakfast event for 2024: “Recruitment and Retention in Queensland’s Defence Industry”.

In March 2023, the Queensland Government released the Women in Manufacturing Strategy aimed at providing a ‘framework to support the attraction and retention of more women in the Queensland Manufacturing industry’ and maximising opportunities and participation of underrepresented groups, including women, through the Good People. Good Jobs: Queensland Workforce Strategy 2022-2032.

Now 12 months in, we take a look at the strategy and it’s affect on business to date through a lively discussion.

The morning will begin with a Brand Awareness session delivered by Melissa Donnelly of Affinity Communications which will include steps businesses can take to build their brand ensure they attract the right candidates.

This will be followed by a discussion the topic of Recruitment and Retention in Queensland’s Defence Industry by a talented pool of Recruitment, Brand Awareness and Defence Industry experts:
